Either sorry for my past years, either too eager for the future, thinking of my life on the long run gives me headaches. It feels like a pill too big to swallow.</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"> With age, habits come, habits pass, and so do hobbies, passions, likes or dislikes. How many of you do you even remember? Where did the teddy you carried around for years or the posters of the first teen idols you adored are right now? </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">What lies on your shelves now, where toys and storybooks used to?</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><br /></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">Change is an essential part of life, even if we do it with or without wanting it. We are forced to grow up, leave kindergarten, elementary school, high school, college behind and move on. Caught in this process, you may wonder who you are or where are you going. It must be natural to ask ourselves such things since most do. </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">As a young woman, I find myself crossroads often. Frank Warren<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><object width="640" height="385"></object></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">One of the most fascinating concepts I have ever seen in the last months is, by far, Post Secret. It was introduced to me by a dear friend and I never payed attention to it....that is, until now. I have recently entered, for the first time <a href="http://www.postsecret.com/">www.postsecret.com</a> (you can also go to <a href="http://postsecret-ro.blogspot.com/">PostSecretRo</a>, the Romanian version), the website of this fantastic project. Founded by Frank Warren, the website publishes thousands of secrets sent by postcards by its readers. Some</div><div style="text-align: center;"> are funny, some feel just so damn right, but some shake you to the core. It is exactly its ability to move something inside each and every one of us that makes me love it so much, as well as how personal the cards look like. We all have secrets and sharing them can</div><div style="text-align: center;"> relieve us by a burden as heavy as our whole heart.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Ultimately, in my opinion, what Frank Warren does, by collecting and publishing all these postcards, is art. This is its purpose, to make people feel something real. And that is exactly what he offers us.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Here are some of the postcards and a little experiment:</div><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbyVHsNJOB_y7v8Nc9EaLECuaOPi025rFA1GtWnV81F_xEkM2BB1xBdYv9ua8LTYJI43jmo_1DwKtB6U47r8ZdowGZIoX_BKKKDbOlDLh7qv_ql5j7ldvjFXvovI_loagUPxxD0tKu-N87/s400/dothesame.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 278px;" border="0" alt="" /><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU_pAfdPHuUGkEIk3lw1qbJOLZ3Ftgxn_N6v_gBoWAETwS4r8JconBxw7x7TYW_Gs3I96bEKX53u2tRtKydv80XYStAUI7DJI8hfVOk8CZ0lGPh7WQZt_nc4YJiCLstHMtPwbtJp5MC71J/s400/high.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 395px; height: 400px;" border="0" alt="" /><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUqkFrLAnspyKoaY7Uu9Ajp3_Yk4-aTLTJw5F7aCAS8Vxjvr-bFN4j4zoCPGNRiMLFuVZc-Y0_L-fzD7foboDUP5BjCgM3g7dRg8q4RWIQUd-86LgD_Ayo-PyPLk9WQotCijpSwG_lZ5ul/s320/error.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 219px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5518656494761439506" /><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-ceoo19Zfln-y3tzm-GoN76FX0SHkQUo5Z1fdf7L1dmw7Bk5Xj_AQ7xJBDh5YsdvhlYOJLp-9XVs_V7oc3UtJtPJwhKpxm9WapvZjJFc3Lq1-h8JEe5gqwLKFvlmVnC0U5ICKNNYehC6t/s320/11-11.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 209px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5518656490858738498" /><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KZ-IxSagYLo/TJcS7_wgsTI/AAAAAAAABFw/72yf4dUZLRo/s1600/post+secret.jpg" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 500px; height: 300px;" border="0" alt="" /><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><object width="640" height="385"></object></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span"><u><br /></u></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><u><br /></u></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div>Irrinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07562709799972665994noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4897430736729010812.post-26194973929980304222010-09-13T22:17:00.003+03:002010-09-13T23:00:57.637+03:00Flicks to check out<div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">1. The Romantics</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">A light movie about four friends who are reunited during a wedding and a love story is resurrected. It seems the kind of movie which will brighten any cloudy autumn day. It seems to be somewhere along the lines of "My best friend's wedding".</div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><object width="640" height="385"></object></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">2. Black Swan</span></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><div style="text-align: center;">A psychological thriller who has one of the best and catchiest trailer I've seen in some time. Also, I am very curious about how Natalie Portman carries the part out.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><object width="640" height="385"></object></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">3. Love and other drugs</span></div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">The guy who invented Viagra fells in love.</div><div style="text-align: center;">Have I ever told you how much I like Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal? I can't wait to see them together. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><object width="640" height="385"></object></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">4. Heartbeaker</span></div><div><div style="text-align: center;">French movie, with Vanessa Paradis, might be magnifique! To be honest, I like French movies about love, in general.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><object width="640" height="385"></object></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">5. Going the distance</span></div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">A quirky movie about long distance relationships...with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, who are simply a match made in romantic comedies' heaven.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><object width="640" height="385"></object></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">6. Easy A</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><div style="text-align: center;">Definitely a teen movie about high school, which I am going to enjoy just because I still am a teenager in high school.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><object width="640" height="385"></object></div></div></div></div>Irrinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07562709799972665994noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4897430736729010812.post-16625510724896936592010-09-11T23:24:00.008+03:002010-09-12T12:37:34.735+03:00"I was shooting for stars on a Saturday night"<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><img src="http://d2ceoshttpcontent.com.edgesuite.net/d2ceoscontent/photo/pro/thumbnails/20100322/f5e47690-e320-49b9-a886-39f47715f294/thumbnail_8.jpg" style="text-align: center;display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; cursor: pointer; width: 590px; height: 590px; " border="0" alt="" /><div style="text-align: center;">Not being a fan of hip hop in general, I had no idea who B.O.B was.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"> However, his debut album,"B.O.B presents: The Adventure of Bobby Ray" is one of the best recent ones out there.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"> From the very familiar and commercially successful <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PTDv_szmL0">"Nothin' on you"</a> featuring Bruno Mars and the already popular <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kn6-c223DUU&feature=channel">"Airplanes"</a> featuring Paramore's lead singer Hayley Williams to the less-known <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ueLqjW0p2g">"Pass my shades"</a>, "Don't let me fall" and "Ghost in the machine", B.O.B designs an album unexpected in its quality, musicality and accessibility, which is one of my personal favorites.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"> This guy has this personal style which makes him so hard to put him in any musical category. My point is that, now, we almost never put on but jeans and a tshirt no matter the ocasion. I love dressing up, and I do it just about every time I feel like it.<br /><br />But still, there is someone ruining your mood, staring at you. I absolutely detest it when people stare at you just because you look different. It rarely happens in western countries, but here, trust me, they're watching as if you're a freakshow.<br /><br />I love the feeling I get when I'm dolled-up and looking my best while out (even if I don't have fantastic clothes and I almost never wear heels because I'm so tall and everyone's staring). Another thing I believe in is being true to who you are and revealing your true nature also on the outside. I must admit, I sometimes don't really have the courage (or the clothes) to be myself.<br /><br />I think that looking good, taking care of yourself as a woman and not neglecting your appearance is something you do for yourself, as an evolved human being, if, of course, you have some self-respect.<br /><br /><a href="http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/">photos: the sartorialist</a><br /></div>Irrinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07562709799972665994noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4897430736729010812.post-48086036303135131872010-04-28T20:46:00.003+03:002010-05-08T12:24:04.421+03:00First drop, yet<div style="text-align: center;">Since so many people are eagerly awaiting for season 3 of True Blood, mini episodes are being released in order to keep the suspense strong.<br />Today, the first mini-episode has surfaced.<br />Enjoy!<br />(I love it, but come ooon, just 3 mins????)<br /></div><br /><object width="853" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/izglchlUchE&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/izglchlUchE&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="853" height="505"></embed></object>Irrinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07562709799972665994noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4897430736729010812.post-46585689593907032022010-04-25T20:06:00.004+03:002010-04-25T20:17:10.601+03:00Aren't there 3 other movies with this title?<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://i.blogs.indiewire.com/thompsononhollywood/images/uploads/thompson-on-hollywood/wheninromeposter__thumb.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 469px;" src="http://i.blogs.indiewire.com/thompsononhollywood/images/uploads/thompson-on-hollywood/wheninromeposter__thumb.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">On Friday, Me & my dear friend Monica, decided to see a cute little movie to relax, so we went to see "When in Rome". Well, actually, we chose it because we had no other option because of our shedules, but that's not that important.<br />Well, the movie is...fun. And, um.... funny. Okay, okay, it's not that good. Really. It's one of those romenic comedies set in a really famous city. It has some nice parts, but most of them are already clichees and you can basically predict everything that is going to happen from the very beginning. Kristen Bell was...stiff, I didn;t like her at all, but Josh Duhamel was sweet (I mean hot).<br />Well, you can go with your girlfriends and watch it, but don't expect anything major or impressive because you ain't getting any. Still, it's light, funny and pretty much okay.<br /></div>Irrinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07562709799972665994noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4897430736729010812.post-91878763764001332482010-04-16T19:24:00.006+03:002010-05-08T12:24:21.370+03:00Waiting sucks!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggG3qar3Q5PyTyw3IkkfEWY0_VIsHC6TxcsBM25gSSIPmZRS8jVAFQapKzm_stD0MbIO0zm51gy-X9O0DbgFGvuCJyiNH1oB-BlIIacH75J5EBNMcK9wxgn1Ff38Mg5QkIa54QN7Xeo6-G/s1600/season-3-poster-vilf.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 279px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggG3qar3Q5PyTyw3IkkfEWY0_VIsHC6TxcsBM25gSSIPmZRS8jVAFQapKzm_stD0MbIO0zm51gy-X9O0DbgFGvuCJyiNH1oB-BlIIacH75J5EBNMcK9wxgn1Ff38Mg5QkIa54QN7Xeo6-G/s400/season-3-poster-vilf.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5461092148054302018" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixz9OazrpeGVioRDCJRqGMvUrXbITGR5j5LDDe8mG2frnShPM64xF4Jg1pvcmzgZZj_O2IkkuqbOp1jjkPqJVZuOShCd4m5XfsjRohamfr6UW-stZtDXGgy0tmPyX4qd2yIDg9nftcVUG4/s1600/season-3-poster-vilf.jpg"><br /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Well, it seems that I'm getting a lot into american TV shows theese days and the most recent one I've discovered (yeah, I know, I'm so late on this one) is True Blood. I really enjoyed it, the acting was phenomenal and it looked amazing, but still, there was something missing.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">If you are familiar with the books, you'd immediately realise that this is not "Alice in Wonderland", but "</span><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);font-size:100%;" >Through the Looking-Glass</span><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">", which is the sequel, sort-of. Alice is 20 and everyone expects of her to get married, so she runs from the place where an awful chap was publicly proposing to her, following the rabbit in the waistcoat.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">The best part, I must say, were the characters. Fantastic protrayals by the actors. Johnny Depp was...the Mad Hatter, I mean, he was so good I couldn't even tell it was him. Helena Bonham Carter, who plays the Queen of hearts, is, as always, brilliant. I always enjoy watching her embody her characters because she does it so vividly. Another character I loved was the Cheshire Cat, who I could watch floating around for hours. Anne Hathaway as the White Queen was...okay, I mean, it wasn't as outstanding as the others, but it was a good performance nonetheless.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">The artistic part of the movie and its 3D effects are, of course, perfect. It looks very believable, enchated, exactly as it should be.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">However, as I mentioned before, something was missing. Maybe I didn't really get into the story and cared about it as much as I was expecting, The Mad Hatter being the only character I was feeling sorry for. Maybe it was just me.</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">The message of the movie was quite obvious for me, at least, and it stuck with me for a long te after I saw it (even now). It's all about being yourself, being brave and taking your life in your own hands.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">In the end, I loved it! It's really worth going and seeing it because it's a wonderful experience that you mustn't miss.</span><br /></span><br /></div>Irrinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07562709799972665994noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4897430736729010812.post-77422655888188453582010-03-11T23:18:00.008+02:002010-03-11T23:35:33.617+02:00"You can thank me later. It's all about the hardships of life and it is quite impressing. The story is touching. I must say that the main character Michael, played by<span style="font-size:100%;"> Quinton Aaron, has quite an unique personality and so much dignity that it seemed sort-of imposibile to me that such a person would actually exist. I admit being really moved by his actions, especially in the beggining of the movie (you'll see what I'm talking about).</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:100%;">Of course, Sanda Bullock is amazing. And why is that, you may ask?</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:100%;">After 10 minutes, I completely forgot she was her because of how well she got into the character. Her southern acent was flawless and everything about her, from her gestures to her mimic, screamed authenticity. And that is why I think she deserved getting the Oscar this year. </span><br /><br />Thumbs up!<br /></div><span style="font-size:100%;"><br /></span>Irrinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07562709799972665994noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4897430736729010812.post-11906583954460520772010-03-11T23:06:00.004+02:002010-03-11T23:11:49.333+02:00Someone help!<div style="text-align: center;">I really can't understand what on earth is going on with this weather. It's hillarious and I absolutely love it. Apparently, he's a huge thing right now, so I decided to listen to one his songs just out of curiosity. Apparently, this is his latest single "Baby", featuring Ludacris.
<br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kffacxfA7G4&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kffacxfA7G4&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></object><br style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The verdict?</span>
<br />
<br />No surprise here, I really could not get it why does he there is so much hype around him. To be frank, because he's so small, because of his horrible haircut and kinda'annoying voice, I wasn't impressed at all. He's got the cheesiest dance moves, lyrics, videos and facial expressions. Okay, he is sort-of cute, but only a potential pedofile over 15 could consider him hot. Really.
<br />the Question is: Whyyy?

I am really enjoying the <span style="font-size:130%;">"Florence and the Machine" </span>album and now her songs are definitely dominating my "most played" list. Her music reminds me of Alice in Wonderland because it's eccentric, fantastic-ish and very rich in details. I must say her voice sounds more than great and has very specific sound that I can't really identify with anything else I can think of.<br /><br />The entire "Lungs" album is a delicious and savory musical experience worth giving a try. I really like "Cosmic love" and "I'm not calling you a liar", but the top-charting singles "Dog days are over" and "You got the love" are adorable as well.<br /><object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PQZhN65vq9E&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PQZhN65vq9E&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object><br /></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e5/Lungs_FatM.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 467px; height: 467px;" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e5/Lungs_FatM.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://991.com/newGallery/Florence--The-Machine-Drumming-Song-483428.jpg"><br /></a>Irrinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07562709799972665994noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4897430736729010812.post-87718863858244976812010-02-20T22:28:00.004+02:002010-02-20T22:48:24.026+02:00The Brits 2010<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://d.yimg.com/a/p/ap/20100217/capt.76dc53ccc3de4fbb8455f88cb181671e.aptopix_britain_brit_awards_lap192.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 410px; height: 273px;" src="http://d.yimg.com/a/p/ap/20100217/capt.76dc53ccc3de4fbb8455f88cb181671e.aptopix_britain_brit_awards_lap192.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">The British music awards are something to see, even if you might not recognize all the performers. However, there were some great moments. Yes, everyone knows that Lady Gaga has won three awards, which is a lot, but there was no surprise here. Still, I wasn't expecting to see her so humble. She was actually crying for two or three times while having her speeches. I was pretty much in awe to see her so honestly humble and thankful.<br /><br /><br />The performances were amazing. From Jay-z with the talented Alicia Keys, who shook the ground with her vocals, to Cheryl Cole with her great dancers. But I couldnt "feel" Lilly Allen at the start of the show. It seemed strange with that wig...maybe it's just me. However, there were two performances I enjoyed the most.<br /><br />First, Florence and the Machine with Dizzie Rascal <span style="font-size:85%;">(I have no idea who he is)</span> sang "You've got the love", a great piece which sounded even better with those harps .
